Needs and Acoustic Challenges

Businesses operating in the club and nightlife venue concept require electroacoustic infrastructures capable of transmitting the dynamic range of electronic and rhythmic music genres without distortion. In venues located in dense residential areas like Cihangir, homogeneously distributing the sound energy indoors and ensuring high intelligibility in the audience area is a critical engineering problem. Selecting compact yet powerful equipment that can integrate into the architectural structure of the venue, perform continuously and stably without disrupting visual aesthetics, and avoid thermal compression during prolonged use forms the basis of the system design.

Applied Solution

In the system design carried out by the Trioacoustic engineering team, coaxial driver technology was preferred, considering the acoustic dynamics and architectural constraints of the venue. Accordingly, Celto Acoustique iFix-6 coaxial compact speaker units were integrated into the system to be directed towards the audience areas. Thanks to the point source advantage provided by the coaxial design, phase mismatches were minimized, and a linear response was achieved across a wide frequency band. The compact cabinet structure ensured reaching the targeted sound pressure levels while preserving the visual integrity of the interior.

Results

As a result of the applied electroacoustic design, a homogeneous sound distribution and high intelligibility were achieved in the audience areas within the club. The coaxial structure of the Celto Acoustique equipment preserved tonal balance even at close listening distances, preventing listener fatigue and providing a stable acoustic performance suitable for nightlife venue standards.
