Needs and Acoustic Challenges

Venues operating as a combination of a nightclub and a club-restaurant demand both detailed intelligibility during background music playback and distortion-free power transmission during high-tempo performances. In such hybrid spaces, the homogeneous distribution of low frequencies across the venue without losing their body is a critical engineering requirement. Simultaneously, selecting compact yet high-performance components that do not disrupt the architectural aesthetics remains among the primary challenges of the acoustic design process.

Applied Solution

In accordance with the determined acoustic requirements, the audio system infrastructure of the venue was designed using Celto Acoustique branded products. To ensure a wide frequency range and directivity control, Celto Acoustique iFIX 10FR 10" coaxial two-way speaker units were integrated into the system. The need for low-frequency support and high power capacity was addressed with Celto iFIX 17SG2 18" compact high-power subwoofer units, balancing the overall frequency response and achieving the targeted dynamic range.

Results

Thanks to the applied electroacoustic design, the flexible audio performance required during the transitions between the club and restaurant functions of the venue has been secured. While phase coherence is achieved through coaxial driver technology, a deep and controlled low-frequency response is distributed homogeneously across the space without compromising architectural integrity, courtesy of the compact subwoofer integration.
