Unlike line array systems, point source speakers radiate sound from a single point, providing excellent phase coherence at short to medium distances. They are the ideal acoustic solution for areas requiring wide coverage angles, such as low-ceiling venues, theater halls, clubs, and on-stage monitor applications.

A coaxial design is achieved by positioning the high and low-frequency drivers on the exact same axis. This physical structure ensures that sound emanates from a single point, delivering perfect phase alignment and true point-source radiation. Consequently, it provides a homogeneous and highly articulate acoustic experience.

Selecting the correct amplifier and DSP for passive systems relies on strict system engineering principles. An amplifier with appropriate power must be chosen based on the speaker's impedance, RMS power capacity, and peak requirements. The DSP is then configured with precise crossover, EQ, and limiter settings.
