Overview
The Celto Pro 12PF600-8 is a high-performance mid-bass transducer engineered for professional sound reinforcement, portable systems, and touring applications. Featuring a 12-inch (320 mm) nominal diameter and an 8 Ohm impedance, it delivers 600 W RMS (AES) power handling.
With a sensitivity of 97 dB (1W/1m) and a resonant frequency (Fs) of 51 Hz, it ensures highly dynamic and precise low-mid reproduction. The transducer is built around a 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil utilizing a 2-layer inside/outside winding of 240°C PI CCAW wire on a DUPONT GFB fiberglass former. This robust thermal and mechanical design allows for a linear excursion (Xmax) of ±8.75 mm and a mechanical limit (Xmech) of 42 mm, ensuring stable operation under demanding acoustic conditions. Weighing 7 kg, it is an ideal choice for both permanent installations and mobile sound systems.
