Establishments offering a combined restaurant and bar concept must establish a flawless balance between background music that does not hinder guest communication and dynamic playback during evening hours. In such areas, ensuring that sound reaches every point of the venue at an equal level and preventing frequency losses is a fundamental engineering rule. Furthermore, utilizing ultra-compact components that do not create visual conflict with the interior design while maintaining high performance forms the focal point of acoustic planning.

Applied Solution

The electroacoustic design of this newly completed project in Malta was realized with Celto Acoustique solutions tailored to the structural characteristics of the venue. To achieve consistent sound dispersion and tonal integrity over a wide area, Celto Acoustique iFIX7 coaxial full-range speaker models were positioned. The low-frequency requirements of the system were supported by Celto iFIX17SG2 ultra-compact subwoofer units, which provide a deep and controlled bass response without causing visual clutter, thereby completing the overall frequency spectrum.

Results

As a result of the implemented system integration, the acoustic expectations of the restaurant and bar areas during different operational hours have been fully met. While dead zones are minimized thanks to the wide coverage angle provided by the coaxial drivers, a rich and balanced auditory atmosphere is created by preserving the aesthetic integrity of the venue with ultra-compact low-frequency modules.
