Overview

The Celto Acoustique CSW218 is a dual 18-inch vented subwoofer system engineered to deliver serious low-frequency performance within a compact footprint. Designed for demanding professional audio applications, it features a power handling capacity of 3000 W RMS (12000 W Peak) and a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms.

At its core are two custom-engineered 18-inch CELTO 18SW1500-8 transducers, featuring die-cast aluminum chassis and 4-inch (100 mm) long-throw voice coils. Operating in active mode, the CSW218 delivers a frequency response of 34 Hz to 1500 Hz, with an average sensitivity of 100 dB (1W/1m) and a calculated maximum SPL of 135 dB RMS (141 dB Peak), ensuring deep, tight, and impactful bass reproduction. The enclosure is constructed from premium exterior-grade Birch Plywood, heavily braced with tongue-and-groove joints, and finished with a durable, textured waterborne black coating. An acoustic PU foam backing behind the front steel grille provides protection and a clean aesthetic. Connectivity is handled via dual genuine Neutrik Speakon NL4MP connectors. For versatile deployment, the cabinet is equipped with two M20 threaded pole-mount sockets. Weighing 80 kg with dimensions of 580 x 1100 x 740 mm, the CSW218 is an outstanding solution for both high-end permanent installations and touring applications.
